Australian made for cable TV show having Underbelly style legal problems (actually, I think it has more to do with the most evil man this state has ever seen. I don't want to say his name...). So, New Zealand has picked up the slack and premiered the show, currently 5 eps in.
The show is a bit hit or miss to be honest. David Wenham is outstanding in the lead as a former well known coke-addled lawyer to well-known crims and he dominates the show, but everything else feels a bit slapdash. Currently on the Walsh Street police murders and something feels off, I'm trying to figure out what it is...
Nice to see Samantha Tolj have a nude scene (that reminds me, I've gotta get to the stuff from her second appearance on Stingers, her second nude scene in the show. Been sitting on that for ages. I've already done the first). But, her acting career seems to have hit the skids. Now she's random naked chick in TV show or perfect hot chick in Jim Beam ad. Ah well...
